A major boost for Ukrainian defense tech: Dropla Tech has secured €2.4 million to scale its artificial intelligence technologies that can detect not only hidden mines but also camouflaged enemy drones.
The investment comes from the Danish Export and Investment Fund, Maj Invest, and Final Frontier. The funding will support further AI development, expand R&D capacity, and help deploy these solutions to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
AI solutions from the frontline
BLUE EYES is a fully autonomous system that detects explosives and ambush drones in real time. It operates without GPS or internet connection and does not rely on external servers — ensuring functionality under combat conditions.
DROPLA VISION is a multi-sensor mapping platform that fuses data from five sensors into one intelligent operational layer. It helps troops quickly and safely detect mines, IEDs, or hidden threats — supporting demining efforts and protecting supply routes.
Both technologies have been tested through the BRAVE1 platform and continue to improve with direct feedback from soldiers. These systems are already active on the front lines — finding explosives, securing logistics, and saving lives.
