Ukrainian defence tech company Frontline Robotics has presented Linza 3.0, an upgraded bomber drone platform already deployed across more than 60 units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
First introduced in 2024, the Linza platform has been iteratively refined based on direct battlefield feedback. Version 3.0 reflects operational demands for extended range, increased payload capacity, improved reliability, and simplified deployment in combat conditions.

Linza 3.0 features an in-house AI-powered visual-inertial navigation module developed by Frontline Robotics. The system enables route mapping in Loiter mode, stable hover over targets at altitudes of up to 200 meters, and improved landing stabilization. The drone is available in both day and night configurations.
The team prioritised secure control and video transmission from the earliest development stages,
Media often call Linza the ‘Ukrainian Mavic’. The comparison is understandable, but unlike commercial quadcopters, Linza was designed specifically for military tasks. From day one, we focused on resilient communication systems for control and video transmission. Optical navigation further reduces operator workload, stabilises targeting, and lowers the training threshold
The drone integrates a dual-band encrypted control system with frequency hopping, resistant to electronic warfare interference, as well as a one-way EW-resistant digital video transmission channel.
With a 12-inch frame, Linza 3.0 carries up to 4 kg of payload over distances up to 15 km, remains airborne for up to 60 minutes. The previous version carried up to 2 kg at 10 km.

The platform supports multiple battlefield roles, including strike operations, relay carrier missions, logistics, reconnaissance, mining operations, and drone recovery tasks. It is delivered ready for use “out of the box.” Frontline Robotics provides 24/7 technical support and offers a warranty of 80 flights under proper operational use.
The daytime configuration includes a gyro-stabilised 1280×720 camera with 6× digital zoom. The night version integrates a 640×512 thermal imaging system operating at 30 Hz.
Linza 3.0 will become the first drone manufactured at the newly established Ukrainian-German joint venture Quantum Frontline Industries. The partnership between Frontline Robotics and Germany’s Quantum Systems was announced in December 2025 and marks a step toward cross-border defence tech production scaling.
Frontline Robotics, founded in August 2023 by four Ukrainian engineers, focuses on aerial and ground robotic systems for defence and assault operations. Its portfolio includes the Linza bomber drone, the Zoom reconnaissance drone, and the Buria robotic turret.
