In 2025, Ajax Systems crossed a threshold that few hardware-centric technology companies reach at this speed. Over the course of a single year, the Ukrainian security technology company added more than 100 new devices to its portfolio, expanded manufacturing beyond Europe, and strengthened its position as a global supplier operating across more than 180 countries.
The numbers matter, but the context matters more. Ajax is scaling in an environment shaped by war, supply-chain disruption, and constant security risk — conditions that have turned Ukraine into one of the most demanding testing grounds for security technologies anywhere in the world.
By the end of 2025, Ajax Systems’ portfolio had grown to 280 devices spanning intrusion protection, video surveillance, fire safety, automation, and software services. This expansion was not limited to incremental updates.
The company introduced over 100 new devices in a single year, including:
- a fully wireless Grade 3 intrusion protection system certified under EN 50131 — the first of its kind globally,
- the EN54 Line, a wireless fire detection and alarm system designed for commercial facilities,
- expanded video surveillance lines with AI-enabled cameras, recorders, and analytics.
For the security industry, these launches marked a shift toward fully integrated systems that previously required multiple vendors. For Ajax, they reinforced a strategic direction: building an end-to-end security stack that can be deployed, scaled, and maintained as a single ecosystem.

Manufacturing on a global scale
In 2025, Ajax Systems opened its fourth manufacturing facility, located in Hanoi, Vietnam. The 8,300 m² plant significantly expanded production capacity and added more than 1,000 new jobs in its first year of operation.
The decision to manufacture in Vietnam reflects a broader industrial strategy. Diversifying production geography allows Ajax to reduce logistical risk, shorten delivery timelines, and serve global markets more efficiently — particularly in Asia-Pacific, where demand for security infrastructure continues to grow.
By the end of the year, Ajax operated four factories and employed 5,000 people worldwide, with headcount growing by 19% year-on-year.
Software, services, and recurring revenue
Alongside hardware, Ajax continued to invest heavily in software. In 2025, the company:
- released four new applications,
- added 63 new software features,
- and expanded its subscription-based services designed to turn one-time installations into recurring revenue streams for partners.
This software layer plays a critical role in Ajax’s positioning: hardware remains the foundation, but long-term value increasingly comes from services, analytics, and platform-level tools that scale globally.
Global reach and professional adoption
Ajax Systems’ user base continued to grow rapidly:
- total users reached 4.5 million, up 29% year-on-year,
- the number of professional users increased by 65%, reaching 330,000.
In parallel, the company strengthened its global professional community. The Ajax Special Event 2025 attracted 50,000 online viewers, while offline premieres were held in 35 countries, with the main event hosted in Frankfurt.
The company’s third global roadshow reached 10,000 security professionals across 140 cities, reinforcing Ajax’s presence not only as a manufacturer, but as a reference brand within the security industry.

Air Alert: a civilian alert tool operating at a national scale
One of Ajax Systems’ most visible non-commercial contributions is the Air Alert mobile application.
Developed by Ajax Systems and launched in early 2022, the app provides civilians with real-time notifications about air raid threats. Since its release, Air Alert has been downloaded more than 46 million times and, as of 2025, is actively used by over 6.6 million people across Ukraine.
The application has evolved in response to wartime needs. Beyond alerting users to immediate threats, it now includes additional civic functions, such as daily nationwide remembrance notifications and integrated fundraising tools that support humanitarian and defense initiatives in partnership with Ukrainian organizations.
For an international audience, Air Alert represents a rare case where a private technology company has built and continuously maintained a widely used civilian alert application under conditions of ongoing war — adapting it in real time to shifting risks and societal needs.
Recognition and international validation
In 2025, Ajax Systems received 18 international awards, spanning regions from Australia to North America and Southeast Asia. Among them:
- Red Dot Awards for BulletCam and LightSwitch Jeweller,
- industry recognition for the EN54 Line within months of its release,
- multiple awards for AI-enabled video devices, including DoorBell and DomeCam Mini.
These awards reflect not only product design, but Ajax’s broader ability to meet regulatory, technical, and operational standards across diverse global markets.

A company shaped by pressure
By the end of 2025, Ajax Systems was operating at a scale typically associated with long-established multinational manufacturers — while continuing to launch new product lines at startup-level speed.
What distinguishes the company is not a single device or technology, but the environment in which it operates. Continuous exposure to real security threats has compressed development cycles, hardened product requirements, and accelerated decision-making across engineering, manufacturing, and software.
For global observers, Ajax Systems offers a case study in how security technology evolves when reliability, speed, and resilience are not abstract goals, but daily operational necessities.
