Ukrainian innovation continues to earn global recognition. At Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon — one of the world’s largest tech conferences — Ukrainian startup SYLA made it into the top 10 of the pitch competition.
This year, 2,725 startups from around the world competed, with only 105 reaching the Web Summit stage. Just 10 were selected to present their solutions on the main arena — including SYLA.

The company is developing an AI-powered bionic knee prosthesis for people with lower-limb amputations. The solution has already drawn attention from international investors and media, highlighting the growing strength of Ukraine’s deep tech sector.
It’s not the first time Ukrainian startups succeed at Web Summit: previous editions also saw Bliss Brain and S.Lab reach the top 10.

In August 2025, SYLA received a $25,000 grant from the Ukrainian Startup Fund to support the scaling and growth of their product and access new markets.
