At the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 in Rome, investment firm MITS Capital announced a $3.74 million investment in Tencore, a Ukrainian developer of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), including its flagship robotic platform, TerMIT.

This marks the first investment deal between a U.S. investor and a Ukrainian DefenseTech company under the Diia.City legal regime.

MITS Capital is proud to sign the first contract between a U.S. investor and a Ukrainian defense technology company via Diia.City. This investment sets a precedent for future deals and moves Ukraine one step closer to aligning its technology investment framework with European Union standards

The agreement was facilitated with support from the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Diia.City legal framework, and the Diia.City United business association, which accompanied the process at every stage.

About Tencore

Tencore is one of Ukraine’s leading developers of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). Its flagship platform, TerMIT, is:

  • NATO-standard codified,
  • battle-tested in combat environments,
  • used for logistics, evacuation, engineering tasks, and combat support.
TerMIT

To date, Tencore has produced over 800 robotic platforms and plans to scale production to 2,000 units by the end of 2025. The new funding will support the expansion of R&D and manufacturing capacity.

Diia.City for DefenseTech

This deal demonstrates that investing in Ukrainian companies can be simple, direct, and low-risk. Thanks to Diia.City, foreign venture capital can now invest directly in Ukrainian legal entities.

As of early 2025, over 300 defense-related companies have joined Diia.City. The legal framework provides clear, transparent mechanisms for international investors: standard contract templates, and dispute resolution through international arbitration courts recognized by Ukraine.

This mechanism makes investing in Ukrainian legal entities as secure and straightforward as investing in a C-Corp in Delaware or an e-Residency company in Estonia
