uResidency
uResidency — borderless digital entrepreneurship. We are removing barriers for entrepreneurs and introducing a new approach to how foreigners can do business in Ukraine.
uResidency is a special status granted by the Ukrainian government that allows foreign freelancers in the IT and creative industries to conduct business in Ukraine regardless of location. The program focuses on specialists in the creative economy, particularly IT professionals from Asia and Europe, working on software development, video games, educational projects, digital technologies, and more.
Obtaining e-resident status starts everything. After that, entrepreneurs can attract clients worldwide, open a bank account remotely, and sign documents with a digital signature from anywhere.
Benefits of business registration in Ukraine for e-residents:
Increased client trust. Operating within the legal framework of a European country enhances reputation among international partners.
A favorable and simplified tax system: 5% income tax (up to ~€200,000) and 15% on amounts exceeding this limit. Taxes are paid automatically through the bank, eliminating the need for reporting.
A fully online process: business registration, bank account opening, and tax payments are all done remotely.
Currently, uResidency is available for citizens of Slovenia, India, Pakistan, and Thailand with plans to expand to additional countries as the program is rolled out.
